1992 M¨ARKL¨OST

Nexø, Bornholm Denmark

We were invited by the town of Nexø on the Danish island Bornholm to make a performance at the harbour. Many local people participated – stone cutters, horse riders, children on roller skates, a biker gang, a marching brass band etc.
Borholm is situated in the middle of the Baltic Sea, weather matters. The performance played 4 nights in very different weather which became a dominating element in the work – rain, storm, storm and rain and one night with no wind and lovely clear sky. So it was four very different performances. The piece was composed as a concrete music composition….
